Anokhi is a very popular Jaipur shop for ethnic cotton wear dresses and home furnishings. Block printing in super fine cotton material is their specialty . Anokhi is also known for preserving the traditional printing techniques and creating stylish clothes for men ,women& children. Absolutely light weight tunics , one piece dresses ,skirts and tops are the most popular items in this shop . The colorful & flowery prints in a white backdrop make the dresses ideal for the summer and spring seasons. In addition to tunics & skirts , they also stock salwar-kameez, churidars, patialas, dupattas and stoles . The dresses are colour coordinated and elegantly displayed in this large shop. The dresses range from Rs2000/piece to about Rs3500/piece In addition, to the ethnic dresses and tops, you can also take your pick from a range of colorful bed-linen, curtains, quilts and bags. The quilts and bed spreads are made with similar Jaipur printed super fine cotton . The designs are simple, modern and trendy . The dining table covers and matching table mats in bright colours such as reds and yellows with bright coloured prints look very attractive. Their Arakku coffee and carrot cakes are outstanding . It was difficult to get a place in this café .We were informed that the café is occupied from breakfast to early evening . There are plenty of foreigners who visit this shop , as we noticed on a couple of occasions. The Anokhi museum near the Amber fort in Jaipur showcases the variety of fabrics and the printing techniques used in cloth making by Anokhi.

Shop for salwar kameez, palazzo pants, skirts, tunics ,jackets and sarees. Jaipur Block Prints In addition, you can pick up a chic skirt and top with traditional Indian block print – it gives a modern, yet ethnic touch to the dress. Long and short kurtas with beautiful ethnic prints in a variety of colours and textures are a great attraction. Kurtas in mull (very soft cotton) with (vegetable dye block printing technique prints, in linen with exquisite embroidery and in silk and Chanderi cotton are all breathtakingly beautiful. Match them with normal salwars, churidars or Patiala salwars. Furthermore, they have a huge selection of dupattas available in Chanderi cotton, cotton, silk and wool. True sari lovers will love the stunning Chikan, Tussar and Maheshwari saris in woven silk and cotton prints, even though the prices are steep -upwards of Rs. 5000 per sari . Fine filigree and trellis work adorn marble pillars, furniture, figurines tableware and furthermore. Elephant shaped pieces in makrana, meenakari (enamelling) and wood are very attractive.
