Metal work is another traditional craft of Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and parts of West Bengal. The metal is worked upon with the conventional techniques of heating, hammering, twisting, and cooling. The entire process is completed by one person, who is the artist, designer and blacksmith, all rolled into one.
