This is a central area and it is named after the British architect Edwin Lutyens. He was responsible for much of the architectural design in this part. Connaught Place-New Delhi
Connaught Place (CP)is a circular market designed by British architects and named after the Duke of Connaught. This was once the financial capital & the centre of shopping in Delhi. However, newer shopping places in Delhi have taken the spotlight now.Also, the financial center has moved to Gurgaon. In addition, Janpath, in the vicinity of Connaught Place( one of the radial roads from CP) , offers a great street shopping experience. Khan Market & South Extension Market in New Delhi
