The foundation stone for The Leela Palace Bangalore was laid in 1997 by the then Prime Minister of India, H.D. Deve Gowda and the then Chief Minister of Karnataka, J.H. Patel. The Leela Palace takes inspiration from the architectural style of the Royal Palace of Mysore. The luxury hotel stands majestically amidst the seven acres of lush gardens and a sparkling lagoon in the garden city.

This luxury shopping mall has shops on the basement and ground floor. You will find several Jewellery shops that sell precious, semi-precious and silver Jewellery. You can also find shops selling Kashmiri carpets, pashmina shawls, silk shawls and stoles. In addition, there are a few other shops that sell designer salwar suits and saris.
Plantation House is a contemporary and trendy shop that sells ladies tops, scarves and jackets in silk and cotton. The shops in the Leela shopping mall have customers from the Leela Hotel as well.
