The store sells Bengali sarees, dress materials, Dhokra artwork, wooden and paper mache masks, decorative items, souvenirs, food items, bath and body products and more.
Biswa Bangla Muslin store
The Biswa Bangla Muslin store, adjacent to the main store, houses an incredible variety of fine muslin cotton. The higher the thread count, the softer and costlier it gets. “Lighter than air” is how muslin was described.
As a matter of fact for centuries and has been a favourite among Europeans since it began to be exported in colonial times.
Bengal Chhou masks, rural doll art work, Dhokra figurines and Muslin cotton are the main products in this store.
