The West Bengal State Handloom Weaver’s Society is an institution established almost 6o years ago. The Tantuja-handloom-shop was promoted to protect the interests of the handloom weavers. Further, it was to preserve the heritage of the Tangail sarees. Tantuja has several showrooms all over the State and the is popular. They have several branches in Kolkata & in several other cities in India.
It is a West Bengal Government shop.
