Darbari Boutique is a leading manufacturer and exporter of garments. They were established in the year 1998. They manufacture saris, salwar suits, dupattas & men’s wear. Saris are in pure cotton, crepe, silk, georgette, chiffon, and tussar. They are sourced from different States in India. Matka silk printed saris in interesting colour combinations are popular. The Aari embroidery work (it is a form of very fine embroidery which the royals favoured) is also popular here. Further, the Kantha (running stitch) embroidery done on saris, kurtis, skirts, dupattas and dress materials. Kantha is a chain stitch. In addition, they also manufacture kurtas & sherwani for men. There is a small section for bags and jewellery. They retail the products in showrooms in South Kolkata and Salt Lake.
