GRT Jewellers
It was in 1964 that G Rajendran founded G R Thangamaligai (GRT). Thangamaligai in Tamil translates to palace of gold. There are separate sections for gold, diamond and silver jewellery. Earrings, bangles, chains, necklaces and traditional jewellery such as waist bands and amulets are all displayed beautifully. GRT Jewellers is a very well-known shop. They have branches in several other cities as well.
They have a large showroom. Customer service is also good as there are many attendants to serve the customers. There is a full floor dedicated to diamond and antique jewellery. Traditional and contemporary designs are all available and you will be certainly spoilt for choice. It is a visual treat to take a walk through the store.
