The Body Shop

Anita Roddick founded The Body Shop in the year 1976. It was later sold to the French giant L’orreal.

Body Butter and Massage Oils

Anita Roddick founded her store based on natural products. Cocoa butter, the body butter was one of the most popular products. Other products are the Argan oil body butter, moringa body butter, vitamin E body butter and Shea body butter. Their body and massage oils are the other favourites. Tahitian body massage oil, French lavender oil, Thai grass oil are exotic oils from The Body Shop.

Face Scrubs & Packs

The face scrubs and the face packs are made from natural oils and fruits. Their range of cleansers, toners, exfoliators and masks do the magic trick for many a skin. Drops of light and vitamin E skin moisturisers are some of their best sellers. The Ethiopian Honey deep nourishing pack tea tree cleansers and toners have tea tree oils to conceal acne and dark spots.

The Japanese face mask has matcha tea, dandelion and aloe vera to protect the skin from pollution.

Fragrances

Body fragrance with cherry blossom, amber and musk are wonderful earthy smells.

Try the strawberry shampoo for hair gloss and the ginger anti dandruff shampoo.

Make Up

BB creams, concealers, foundations, eye liners, mascara, brow pencils, rouge and a range of lipsticks complete the makeup collection. The lip gloss has Marla oil and organ oil that moisturises the lips.

The display in ‘The Body shop’ is very attractive always. Colourful bottles and wonderful smells will greet you.

The very first ‘The Body Shop’ store was opened in 1976 in Brighton, on the south coast of England by Anita Roddick. By 1978, a kiosk in Brussels became the first overseas franchise, and by 1982 new shops were opened at the rate of two per month. Today , ‘ The Body Shop is present in several cities of the world and is a household name . They are presently a part of the L’Oreal Group although they retain their individual identity. Body moisturizers, body butter, body scrubs, bath salts, moisturizers, cleansers, toners, hair styling shampoos and conditioners are available. In addition , they have a vast range of make up products for the eyes, lips and the face in exciting shades and colours. Their products are made using cocao butter, aloe, hemp, seaweed, Vitamin C & E extracts , and other botanical extracts. They do not test on animals. Clarks – Orion Mall

Clarks is an international brand of footwear who have opened stores . The store can normally found in popular Malls across India. They were founded in the year 1825 in Britain. The Clarks brand of footwear is firstly very comfortable . Their designs support the heel and arch in the foot . The collection is not huge when compared to Clarks stores abroad . However, there is a sizeable collection and it is good. They stock both the mens and women range of shoes. Dark blue flat soled shoes with a tiny bow on the top, seems to be in fashion. They have a similar pattern in 3 colours-black, silver and blue . Then there are the nude pumps made famous by celebrities and royalties alike. The nude colour can be paired with any dress. They stock high heels in nude colour as well. Needless to say, this is their most popular item. There is a selection of open sandals and comfortable platform heels. The platform heels does not put too much pressure on the foot. The sandals in silver ,gold and copper colours are very stylish. There are flats in a variety of styles and colours.Pink straps, orange straps ,black & brown. They also have very comfortable boots.Ankle length and knee length boots in black & brown. They are ideal for winters. Clarks has international designs . They are stylish & elegant.

Hideisgn is a household name for leather handbags . They have stores in several international cities. The hidesign bag is original ,genuine leather bags. They started operation the year 1978 . For women and men looking for superior leather bags, Hidesign is the answer. The handbag style includes messenger style bags , hobo bags , tote bags and frame bag style. some with normal straps and some with cross border straps. The styles are trendy & attractive .The colours more so. In addition to the usual black tan and dark tan colours, you can find bright red , maroon , dark green and black with orange coloured bags . The bags would cost around Rs 6000 to Rs7000/piece. The store is not overstocked. As Hi design bags are luxury items in India, the store has just the right amount of bags on display. They stocks wallets , brief cases, travel bag and duffel bags . They have a separate men’s range of bags and briefcases. Hi design is headquartered in Pondicherry. Some of the Hi design stores stock leather jackets in addition to bags.
