Lilac shoes is a small ladies footwear shop on the first floor of Maxus Mall, Bhayander. Lilac has daily wear and fancy wear shoes and sandals. The price ranges upwards from Rs 399 /piece. You will find sandals for daily wear and party wear. There are both flats and ones with heels here. You’ll also find a limited collection of boots and other fancy footwear. But that’s the key point here – the sandals will mostly last the season and if you are extra careful, then a bit more. In the age of fast fashion, that works just fine too. Maxus Mall

Maxus Mall is one of the earliest and biggest malls in the Mira-Bhayander area. The area around the mall has several other shopping centers and eateries making the area very popular.

The anchor store in the mall is the Big Bazaar store on the ground floor. Though this has been a good reason to attract footfalls, it has lately lost out to the DMart in the vicinity. The ground floor mall has mehandi artists sitting around doing a complicated henna design in a matter of minutes.

While the first floor of the mall has fashion and accessory shops, the second floor has a food court (with only vegetarian food) and a bowling alley.

Few brands to name are John Players, HomeTown, max, Belmonte, Nike etc. You will find all stores being organised with a floor plan for customers to shop with convenience.

Indraprastha Mall

Indraprasth Shopping Center is a less of a mall and more of an old time shopping center. It is what Mumbai called a mall before the real big malls with their shoppertainment complexes came in. Just one storey tall, it has an array of small shops that sell clothing and accessories. Located right outside Borivali railway station in the west, Indraprasth Shopping Center was the only place people would want to go to shop for the whole family. Those were the good old days when people really didn’t care about brand shopping. The ground floor has an array of shops for clothing, beauty, accessories and artificial jewellery. As for quality, you’ll have to double check everything before you buy. We would recommend that it is best to visit this mall with someone who knows the way around and has identified trusted shops. At first, the centre will seem like a maze but you’ll get accustomed to it soon. There are a couple of shops exclusively for kids clothes too. The centre of the mall has a non-functional fountain. Look out for: Manish Jewellery in the ground floor. If you have a wedding coming up, you can pick up some imitation jewelery here . What’s interesting: The X-Dubai shop on the first floor which has ‘imported’ goods like perfumes and hookhas and strictly disallows photography. Recommend: The Narayani Slik house in the first floor which has a good range of sarees.

Inorbit Mall, Vashi

Inorbit Mall began their journey by opening their first mall at Malad, Mumbai in early 2004. Inorbit Mall Vashi offers a great Mumbai shopping experience. The mall is a short 10-minute walk from the Vashi local station and there is a mini market en route. This mall is close to the Four Points Sheraton hotel.
