One of the recently opened malls in Mumbai is JIO World Drive (JWD) in the BKC (Bandra Kurla Complex) area of the city.
It is a luxury mall with luxury brands of course. But it is not unaffordable luxury. The Jio Plaza Mall, which is at another end of BKC together with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center, is the place to go to for ultra luxury products.
The JWD Mall stocks both Indian & International brands. The best thing about this mall is the attractive layout. As a matter of fact, the flooring is not marble, & hence the mall does does not look glitzy & blingy. The flooring is stone all the way and the lighting is subdued & not ‘in your face’. Another call out is the spacious layout & hence the lack of any sense of crowding .One can happily walk alongside all the shops comfortably .
It is a serene, sophisticated and stylish mall. The shops are superbly laid out – with ample space. Further, JWD Mall being in the BKC area means, The mall is not in a residential suburb of Mumbai. BKC is primarily an office area and the number of people visiting this mall is relatively limited.
