Lakshmi is a popular sari shop located at Kolkata’s very own Hogg Market. it is an old & established shop. Typically, they cater to the Non-Bengali segment of the society. Their stock primarily comprises of chiffon, crepe, georgette and silk saris. South silk sarees such as Kanjivaram silk sarees are popular. Some of the sarees are embroidered and some are printed. Several saris are with heavy zari/zardosi work. They stock traditional sraees.
Incidentally, this is an old & established shop in New Market. One of the best things about this shop is that it is in New Market Shopping complex. It is a relatively safe place to shop.
