The State Cauvery Emporium is in a small lane, off the main MG Road. It is behind the Trinity Metro station in Bangalore.

There is a a good collection of artifacts, jewellery & handicrafts from several Indian States & exquisite Kashmiri carpets in this Bangalore shop.

Silver Jewellery– As you enter this shop, there is a large room with handicrafts and silver jewellery on the right. Do take a look. Brass items such as lamps and figurines of deities are available here. There are a few bronze sculptures that are also available. Silverjewellery such as chains and earrings is also available.

Marble handicraftsMarble artifacts such as a miniature Taj Mahal, table tops, plates and lamps in marble is also available in the State Cauvery Emporium.

Kashmiri carpets in the State Cauvery Emporium – There is a wonderful collection of carpets on the room to the left. There is a huge display of a real carpet which is in the semi-finished stage and where the warp & the weft threads are on display. This is to showcase the intricacies of the carpet weaving process to customers. There are carpets stacked on all the sides in the room. Do take a good look at the sizes & colors, before making your selection. Carpets are heirlooms to be passed down from one generation to the next.

Deepam is a three storied Bangalore shop on the MG Road. Deepam is one of the best shops in Bangalore especialy for bridal wear sarees, lehengas and salwar suits. It is a narrow entrance and you will have to take a lift to reach the other floors.A salesperson will be assigned to escort you around the store. Lehenga cholis and Anarkali suits First of all the newly refurbished top floor is given over to grand lehenga cholis and Anarkali suits that are suitable for brides and close family members of the bride and the groom. In bright colours in georgette & silk with zardosi work , they are in the Rs100000+/ piece price range. In addition, the exclusive designer dresses are carefully displayed on hangers. This makes viewing very comfortable and easy. In the same floor there are grand lehenga choli dresses that are individually wrapped and stacked in the showroom. The salesmen sit on a mattress in the floor and display the lehangas. While some of the Lehangas are in the usual pink and red colors with heavy embroidery, there are other in green and blue as well. In addition, there are peaches and light pastels shades with colorful embroidery. This is especially relevant as it is in vogue now. As a result, Deepam is best known for bridal wear in Bangalore Kanjivaram Silk sarees The second floor has their best collection of Kanjivaram silk sarees . Because is a vast collection with the latest colours & designs. There is a separate section for sarees with tested zaris and sarees with pure gold zaris. As a result, the saris are priced accordingly. The average price range is Rs 5000- Rs 50000/piece. There are ready to wear blouses in silk and zari embroidery in various colours.
