These were quite unique in beautiful shades of red & grey. There were tussar sarees with some distinct prints as well . The printed tussar saree is lightweight as compared to the embroidered tussar saree, which is a bit heavy . It seems like not many shops in Chennai stock embroidered tussar and printed tussar sarees. Western wear in Samasta in Alwarpett In addition, there is a section dedicated to tops and skirts, trousers ,stoles & palazzo pants. They are lightweight and ideal summer wear dresses . The selection in the shop was limited . Samasta probably has more variety online. Samasta is a store especially for young women who wish to dress in a trendy clothes. The fabrics used are cotton, linen and silk all of which are natural fibers . Hand embroidery and printing are generously and aesthetically done on clothes.
