Jewellery in Ranee’s

There is silver jewellery with precious & semi-precious stones. The stones are procured from Jaipur, where they have their office. Rubies, Sapphire, Topaz and Amethyst are deftly set in silver and gold. While Ranee does not stock huge quantity gold jewellery they do however, create light weight (18c) pieces of gold jewellery that are studded with stones.

They customize a lot of jewellery for the expat community who live in and around that area in Chennai.

This Association is instrumental in establishing Srushti-The Handicrafts Emporium ,Chennai.It is a noteworthy accomplishment . Srushti is in the main road in Nandanam. In fact,some of the huge statues in brass, bronze and wood can be seen displayed outside the shop as you drive past. Brass handicraft Srushti-The Handicrafts Emporium ,Chennai, is engaged in exporting and supplying brass and bronze handicraft and handicrafts made of semi-precious stones. It was established in the year 2000. Brass lamps, plates and bowls are very typical handicraft pieces in Chennai.Take the lamps for instance .They are typically oil lamps that work with oil and a wick. The simple lamps are made interesting by making it a hanging lamp.As a result, they are aesthetically wonderful.Furthermore, there are lamps that are perched on an elephant head or a peacock. When shopping in Chennai for imitation jewellery & silver jewellery, you should definitely visit Jugal Kishore in CP Ramaswamy Iyer Road ,Alwarpet Shopping Market. They have a great collection of gold ,silver and imitation jewellery . Coloured stones & beads are what they are known for. This Chennai shop is in the basement . As you enter the shop, you would find artisans stringing beads, sitting on the floor. However ,your attention would be drawn towards the collection of coloured beads & gemstones that are hung in an attractive display in one corner . They include corals, topaz, pearls, garnets ,emeralds and much more . They are sourced from Jaipur in Rajasthan .If you happen to be shopping in Chennai for beads or stones , this is the place to visit. The right side of the shop has a fantastic collection of silver jewellery. There are display boxes with garnets ,white topaz , pearl, moon stone , blue topaz, amethyst, green onyx, black onyx , tiger eye and several other gem stones that are set in silver . They looked stylish & simple . Similarly, they stock Chanderi sarees and Kota sarees in some unusual and unique patterns. Hence,if you are shopping in Chennai for casual cotton sarees ,Samasta in Alwarpet should be a natural choice Embroidered Tussar sarees in Samasta in Alwarpet What really caught our attention was the embroidered tussar sarees. These were quite unique in beautiful shades of red & grey. There were tussar sarees with some distinct prints as well . The printed tussar saree is lightweight as compared to the embroidered tussar saree, which is a bit heavy . It seems like not many shops in Chennai stock embroidered tussar and printed tussar sarees. Western wear in Samasta in Alwarpett In addition, there is a section dedicated to tops and skirts, trousers ,stoles & palazzo pants. They are lightweight and ideal summer wear dresses . The selection in the shop was limited . Samasta probably has more variety online. Samasta is a store especially for young women who wish to dress in a trendy clothes. The fabrics used are cotton, linen and silk all of which are natural fibers . Hand embroidery and printing are generously and aesthetically done on clothes. The founder and director of Samasta in Alwarpetis Mridulika Menon Madiraju. Most noteworthy is the fact that her mother Arundati Menon was the founder of Shilpi which set high standards in their collection of sarees and fabrics . Do visit this store in Abiramapuram.
