Banaras Ekaya is swanky boutique for Banarasi saris that opened in 2012. In addition to the Banarasi saris, they stock embroidered saris, printed saris, bridal lehengas, suits and fabrics. The colours and designs on the fabric are contemporary, unique and exciting. No two pieces look the same. The store is well designed with modern aesthetics. The layout is atypical so you will not be able see many of the saris that are on display. Some of the shelves are hidden from the customer’s view. Makes it more interesting for sure. Palak Shah is the CEO of Banaras Ekaya.

She hails from one of the most renowned families in Banaras. Her father Bharat Shah and the family have been in the business of manufacturing textiles for several decades. The genuine Banarasi saris are hand-woven handcrafted and hand embroidered.
